This morning, when the Green Riders were out at the
1Malaysia Cycling Expedition organised by Kelab Rekreasi USJ 14 and SK Datuk Onn Jaafar USJ15, Rafizi Hamdan was riding along Middle Ring Road 2, Taman Melawati to join up with his friends for their weekly ride.
At approx 7am, a grey Proton Saga hit and killed the 37-year old CIMB staff, and sped off without a thought, not realizing that his carplate ( WCK 2290 ) had fallen off during the impact.
The accident took place in front of the Shell petrol station leading towards Taman Melawati and was captured on CCTV.
Green Riders would like to extend our deepest condolences to Rafizi Hamdan’s family.
