1Malaysia Cycling Expedition

The weather was fine, the company was great, the route was delightfully scenic with great buffet lunch to boot, who can ask for more on a beautiful Sunday morning...



Some 200 plus Malaysian of all races, young and old were gathered at Sekolah Wawasan USJ15 for the 1Malaysia Cycling Expedition organised by Kelab Rekreasi USJ 14 and SK Datuk Onn Jaafar USJ15.

Just before the flag off, Kelana Jaya Parliamentary Liaison Officer, Ong Chong Swen and other VIPs gave some speeches. Ong stressed for the Local Councils to provide more cycling tracks as well as proper lighting to encourage cycling as a possible solution to the traffic congestion in Subang Jaya.


The route which tooks us from USJ thru Putra Heights to Kampung Lancong and back was pleasantly smooth and scenic.


Kudos to Kelab Rekreasi USJ14, PDRM and St John for a very organised ride.
