Top Cycling Blogs

I am a great fan of Outside Magazine articles and in the latest copy, there was a feature on top cycling blogs. Note that the measure is highly unscientific (one guy's opinion) but I'd like to think he has good taste =)

Cycling to Bandar Botanic, Klang

Monday, 28 Nov 2011, a beautiful morning for cycling. Eric, Daryl and Vic started their journey at 7.20am from USJ 3 towards to Summit then down to Kesas Highway. The road was nice and smooth despite many motorcyclist rushing to work.

Left: Proton showroom along Kesas Highway.

The terrace towards Kota Kemuning have a few bridges to climb and
tunnels to go through, so watch out for the motorcyclist behind.

After Kemuning tol plaza, flat road ahead with incoming wind from the rear.
The cruising speed was 30km/h from here.

Took the turn up at the newly built ramp to Bandar Botanic.

8.15am, reached Fong Keow Pottery Bak Kut Teh
located at main road of Bandar Botanic.

Won't be completed without having a nice Bak Kut Teh in Klang.
Eric and Daryl agrees.

Food for thoughts with smiley faces.

Ordered 2 person meal only. Yum! Yum!

Time to burn some calories...

It was a tough ride back with some headwind blowing from the front.
Cruising speed of 23km/h only.

Reach Summit at 10.20am. A total of 53km ride from Summit to Bandar Botanic and back to Summit. Had a good ride with average speed of 26km/h and the Bak Kut Teh was a treat :)
